One last report from our European trip: the night I spent playing arcade games and taking photobooth photos in a house packed full of mid-century American amusement machines in superb condition in a suburb of Amsterdam. It sounds a little unlikely, but it’s true.

I’d been in touch with Peter and Ina about their beautiful Model 11 photobooth, and I let them know we’d be visiting Amsterdam. Peter was kind enough to invite me over to their house to see their booth as well as all of the other incredible games, jukeboxes, and other machines in their collection. Every one of them works, and every one seems to be in immaculate condition. It really was an amazing sight.
