Aimee gave me a book of hikes in the L.A. area, and as part of my four-letter resolutions (read more, hike more, draw more), we took our first of the hikes on New Year’s Day. It was a good one to start on, because it doesn’t really qualify as a hike, but is more along the lines of one of the Walking L.A. tours like we did the day before. This one was a stroll around Silver Lake Reservoir, along West Silver Lake Drive, which has to be one of the most architecturally eclectic and interesting streets in the area.
