Pocono Plateau

I spent all of last week with my classmates and a few staff from school in the Poconos, hunting and outlet shopping. Actually, we were visiting a film archive and a film lab, both somewhat mysteriously located in the Poconos, so we didn’t have much time to engage in the typical modern-day Poconos leisure activities. We did, however, visit the Hamlin Fun Center, where we took in some video games, bowling, DDR, and LazerTag.

This was the fourth of five week-long trips for school this spring; next month is a visit to the Library of Congress film facility in Dayton, Ohio, and then the traveling will be over. The third quarter exam is this week, and we’ve only got eight weeks of school left. Hard to believe. Time to start applying for jobs and thinking about life beyond school.
