Magnolia Week

The magnolia trees that line the center of Oxford Street near our apartment have blossomed and gone nearly bare again in the span of a week. They certainly were nice while they lasted, and brought out the photographers in droves. I was a little late in snapping my photo, but it gives some idea of what it looked like before and after.

Yesterday morning, we took our third quarter exam, which I studied (too much) for over the last three days, and we also turned in our four month-long group grant project, both of which made a huge load leave my shoulders. So, one more quarter left, only one more trip (this one to Dayton, OH), one more exam, and a lot of talk and work towards applying for and getting a job, plus the hullabaloo around graduation and summer fellowships. Six quick weeks, I’m sure.
