I always thought Somerville was even more relaxed and rational than Cambridge on the continuum of Boston neighborhoods and neighboring towns. But when it comes to parking, Somerville has managed to outdo the draconian Brookline. While Brookline tickets ruthlessly all year long based on an inexplicable standard (no overnight parking anywhere ever, and we won’t really tell you why), Somerville comes from out of nowhere with this amazing move, which I found out about thanks to Aimee’s sleuthing. Can Somerville residents take this one to the top, i.e. Chikage Windler, Mish Michaels, and Harvey Leonard?
