Wilc

Wilco has done some amazing work over the past ten years, but is their work so hard-fought that every time they make a new album, they lose a member? Leroy has left the band, upon completion of “W*lco Happens,” or whatever the name of the new record might be, which means a couple of things: it’s time to find a new multi-instrumentalist who can be the backbone of the band’s sound, but it’s also time to inform Kevin Nealon and Peter Stormare that they are no longer needed to play “young Leroy” and “haggard Leroy,” respectively, in the Wilco movie. Steve Zahn should still be awaiting our call for his role as “John Stirratt,” Peter Facinelli will be receiving word on his role as “Glenn Kotche” (or maybe the guy from “Torque” – I’m still working on this one), and we’re looking for someone for “Jeff Tweedy.” Since no one really knows what “Mikael Jorgenson” looks like, I say we go with Seth Green, who seems to have experience as the “computer guy.” Can he play keyboards, too?
