Falling fast

Every once in awhile, we stop and ask ourselves what we did before Grace came along; it usually involves being what now seems like lazy or self-centered, or just busy doing baby-unfriendly things. I don’t know where blogging fits in there; we haven’t really done as much to write about, and I also have no time to write about it, so things are a little scant on the blog front. A quick recap of recent events:

Back in September, Brian, Sean, John, and I enjoyed the afternoon-long First Annual L.A. Craft Beer Crawl downtown:

Last week, we headed up to Seattle (plane), then Anacortes (rental car), then Friday Harbor (ferry), and finally Roche Harbor, for Brent and Erin’s wedding. The whole weekend was lots of fun, and it was great to be able to introduce Grace to everyone. I got to see some old high school friends, and we all had a good time.

We headed back to Seattle and met up with my family, in from Alaska, New York, and Virginia, and we enjoyed a weekend of hanging out, seeing the sights, and watching Grace and her cousin get to know each other. We also got to see Amanda and Calais, which was great:

The day before we left, we took a tour of the Theo Chocolate Factory, which was a highlight:

It’s always great to visit Seattle, and with the number of friends and baby-friendly activities there, I’m sure we’ll all be back before long.
