The blog will be on a bit more of a hiatus for the next few weeks than it already has been; the great move has begun. This morning, we rented a 26′ Penske truck in New Haven, went to IKEA, threw an Ektorp and a Norden in the truck, and then picked up more items at Aimee’s school and her brother’s place before enjoying a going away dinner at her parents’ place. We left the truck in a driveway in Newton (the driveway of a friend, not just any driveway) as parking is scarce here and I’d rather do as little driving in Boston as possible. We’ll get the truck tomorrow morning and bring it to the apartment, where our movers will meet us at help us get everything into the truck before we then drive to Rochester. It’ll be a long day, but it’ll be that much closer to being done.
