London Bulletin

I read the London Underground Blog every week or so, which always provides fascinating stories of travel on the Tube, as well as links to other interest transit-related blogs. You know, if you’re into that sort of thing. Anyway, from there, I found out about Geoff’s ongoing quest to visit every one of the Underground’s 275 stations in the shortest time. He and his team did just that last week, breaking the 19-hour barrier for the first time. Their story is a fun read, though they naturally don’t give away any trade secrets.

Moving on to Geoff’s other pages, I checked in on his experiment to ask friends and strangers for 50p each in order to buy an iPod. I PayPal’d him 50p (or 91 cents, with today’s ever more depressing exchange rate), and Aimee and I became contributor number 420 out of 500.
