This one was not far from us, in Wilshire Center and Koreatown, starting at the Wiltern.  I&#8217;d never really noticed how green it is.<BR><BR><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/3063430295\/\" title=\"Minifig shirt debut by btmeacham, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3046\/3063430295_8a4617d4e3.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Minifig shirt debut\" \/><\/a><BR><BR>I bought this shirt awhile ago, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Lego Minifig, and hadn&#8217;t had a chance to wear it yet. The tour took us past <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/3064271946\/in\/set-72157610264842366\/\">the former home of the Brown Derby<\/A>, <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/3063435321\/in\/set-72157610264842366\/\">the former home of the Ambassador Hotel<\/A>, and the current home of some massive religious buildings: two churches and a temple, all of which were architecturally interesting.<BR><BR><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/3064273538\/\" title=\"Chapman Market by btmeacham, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3245\/3064273538_de5437f2be.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"319\" alt=\"Chapman Market\" \/><\/a><BR><BR>We took a detour to Chapman Market, a building so fascinating in its appearance and <A HREF=\"http:\/\/franklinavenue.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/chapman-market-may-have-changed-but-its.html\">its history<\/A> that we couldn&#8217;t understand why it wasn&#8217;t mentioned in our walking guide. I couldn&#8217;t figure out exactly what it was, and it was only after we got home that I realized we&#8217;d actually been there before, for karaoke with Chris two years ago.
