We arrived on Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the strange Danish-ness of the town, its many windmills, and especially the <a title=\"Welcome to The Elverh?j Museum of History and Art\" href=\"http:\/\/www.elverhoj.org\/\">Elverh?j Museum<\/A>.<BR><BR><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/2526277680\/\" title=\"Elverh?j Museum by btmeacham, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3144\/2526277680_18a820ae1b.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Elverh?j Museum\" \/><\/a><BR><BR>We headed up to Los Olivos for a delicious sandwich at Panino, some wine tasting on Grand Street, and then out to <a title=\" - Beckmen Vineyards\" href=\"http:\/\/www.beckmenvineyards.com\/\">Beckmen Vineyards<\/a> and the <a title=\"Roblar Winery, Market and Cooking School  (TM)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.roblarwinery.com\/\">Roblar Winery<\/a> for more tastings.<BR><BR><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/2526285186\/\" title=\"Solvang by btmeacham, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3138\/2526285186_af9f98fd22.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Solvang\" \/><\/a><BR><BR>After a quick nap in the afternoon and some episodes of &#8220;Unbeatable Banzuke&#8221; (check out the <a title=\"Unbeatable Banzuke- Super rider (FUNNY JAPANESE SHOW)\" href=\"http:\/\/video.google.com\/videoplay?docid=-5813614368404275991\">crazy things they do on mountain bikes<\/A>), we headed to <a title=\"The Ballard Inn\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ballardinn.com\/\">The Ballard Inn<\/A>, where Aimee had made reservations for dinner.  We had one of the more delicious meals I&#8217;ve had in a long time &#8211; I had some amazing scallops, and Aimee let the chef go crazy making a vegetarian dish, which ended up have some tempura, couscous, and sweet potatoes in it, I think.<BR><BR><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/2526294354\/\" title=\"Solvang by btmeacham, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3271\/2526294354_0fe3e68af1.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Solvang\" \/><\/a><BR><BR>This  morning, after some amazing pancakes at Paula&#8217;s Pancakes in Solvang, we headed back toward Santa Barbara on the beautiful 154, stopping at Aliso Canyon for a 3 1\/2 mile hike in the Los Padres National Forest.  It was a beautiful hike along the hills, cool and breezy and full of insects and birds.
