{"id":61,"date":"2004-01-30T08:51:44","date_gmt":"2004-01-30T15:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2004\/01\/30\/wilc.html"},"modified":"2004-01-30T08:51:44","modified_gmt":"2004-01-30T15:51:44","slug":"wilc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2004\/01\/30\/wilc.html","title":{"rendered":"Wilc"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wilco has done some amazing work over the past ten years, but is their work so hard-fought that every time they make a new album, they lose a member? <a title=\"wilcoworld.net news\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wilcoworld.net\/news\/index.html\">Leroy<\/a> has left the band, upon completion of &#8220;W*lco Happens,&#8221; or whatever the name of the new record might be, which means a couple of things: it&#8217;s time to find a new multi-instrumentalist who can be the backbone of the band&#8217;s sound, but it&#8217;s also time to inform Kevin Nealon and Peter Stormare that they are no longer needed to play &#8220;young Leroy&#8221; and &#8220;haggard Leroy,&#8221; respectively,  in the Wilco movie.  Steve Zahn should still be awaiting our call for his role as &#8220;John Stirratt,&#8221; Peter Facinelli will be receiving word on his role as &#8220;Glenn Kotche&#8221; (or maybe the guy from &#8220;Torque&#8221; &#8211; I&#8217;m still working on this one), and we&#8217;re looking for someone for &#8220;Jeff Tweedy.&#8221;  Since no one really knows what &#8220;Mikael Jorgenson&#8221; looks like, I say we go with Seth Green, who seems to have experience as the &#8220;computer guy.&#8221;  Can he play keyboards, too?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wilco has done some amazing work over the past ten years, but is their work so hard-fought that every time they make a new album, they lose a member?
