North Haven has been a surprisingly elusive town for me, so close but not a town I&#8217;ve managed to get to during all these years. The fact that the race was only 20 minutes away was hugely convenient.<\/p>\n<p>I pushed it early on, with a 7:35 pace over the first mile, which was a little ambitious. I lagged a bit in the middle, but got back on pace by the last mile and put in my fastest time since last fall.
