{"id":375,"date":"2006-02-03T19:31:49","date_gmt":"2006-02-04T02:31:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/02\/03\/time_flies.html"},"modified":"2006-02-03T19:31:49","modified_gmt":"2006-02-04T02:31:49","slug":"time_flies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/02\/03\/time_flies.html","title":{"rendered":"Time flies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another weekend is already upon us, and I haven&#8217;t caught up with what happened two weeks ago&#8230;  Anyway, we went to <a title=\"Buffalo '06 - a photoset on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/sets\/72057594053082271\/\">Buffalo<\/a> two weekends ago for a silent film screening, and I had Buffalo wings and <a title=\"Buffalo%u2019s Other Claim to Fame\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nyfolklore.org\/pubs\/voic29-1-2\/buffalo.html\">beef on weck<\/A> at the Anchor Bar.  <\/p>\n<p>Then, last weekend, we enjoyed a free party at Keys for us and an unlimited number of friends (which came to about 15), which we won by entering a drawing the <a title=\"Doubleperf | Blog | A night at High Falls\" href=\"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/01\/14\/a_night_at_high_falls.html\">last time<\/A> we were there.  A free drink and free appetizers and some songs dedicated to George Eastman, good clean fun.  The next day, we headed to the Poconos for a weekend with George and Anne and George&#8217;s parents, which culminated in a spirited and multi-generational round of Cranium followed by a screening of <I>Transporter 2<\/i>, the requisite bad movie of the visit.  <\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re off to lands unknown this weekend for a birthday surprise getaway, very exciting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another weekend is already upon us, and I haven&#8217;t caught up with what happened two weeks ago&#8230; Anyway, we went to Buffalo two weekends ago for a silent film screening, and I had Buffalo wings and beef on weck at the Anchor Bar.
