We started off with dinner Friday night at Sinbad&#8217;s on Park Ave., where I had a delicious &#8220;pitza&#8221; (pizza on a pita).  <\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, we had breakfast at <a title=\"Highland Park Diner, 1998 - by John Baeder\" href=\"http:\/\/www.johnbaeder.com\/Oils\/1998-HighlandParkDiner.htm\">Highland Park Diner<\/A>, the last &#8220;Orleans&#8221; diner in America, just down the street from us.  In the evening, we went to the <a title=\"RedWingsBaseball.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redwingsbaseball.com\/\">Rochester Red Wings<\/A>&#8216; last home game and enjoyed a <a title=\"Democrat &#038; Chronicle: Red Wings\" href=\"http:\/\/www.democratandchronicle.com\/apps\/pbcs.dll\/article?AID=\/20050904\/SPORTS06\/509040344\/1007\/SPORTS\">Red Wings victory<\/A> as well as a great fireworks display.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/41003573\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/33\/41003573_987c9c6f76_m.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" alt=\"Jell-o Museum, LeRoy, NY\" align=\"Right\" STYLE=\"padding: 0px 0px 10px 10px;\" \/><\/a>On Sunday, we took a stroll through the extensive Vietnam Veterans memorial and read the Sunday <I>Times<\/I> in Highland Park.  And on Monday, we drove down to LeRoy, about a half hour away, home of the <a title=\"The Jell-O Museum and Gallery\" href=\"http:\/\/jellomuseum.com\/\">Jell-o Museum and Gallery<\/A>, which celebrates the history of &#8220;America&#8217;s Most Famous Dessert.&#8221;  We saw Jell-o advertising, recipes, commercials, molds, and anything else you could imagine, plus lots of coverage of Jell-o spokesman Bill Cosby&#8217;s 2004 visit to LeRoy.
