While Lucy didn&#8217;t seem to love the car ride out there, Grace impressed us with her ability to sleep with a three month-old screaming at the top of her lungs next to her. Amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Grace and I rode the Palm Springs Aerial Tram, which was a lot of fun, both as far as the ride itself, and the walk we did at the top. We enjoyed running around in the snow, and even managed a little sledding on a couple of frisbees we&#8217;d brought. This Alaska was a little ashamed for what passed for snow (and for sledding), but it was better than nothing. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/8442955565\/\" title=\"San Jacinto State Park by btmeacham, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8225\/8442955565_96bdbcd00c.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"San Jacinto State Park\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, we stopped by the Palm Springs Air Museum before heading back to Los Angeles. They have quite a nice collection, including a lovely Corsair:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/8454375945\/\" title=\"Corsair: Palm Springs Air Museum by btmeacham, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8085\/8454375945_a41ab432d9.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"Corsair: Palm Springs Air Museum\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Outside on the tarmac was a beautiful B-17, and the museum offered an opportunity for visitors to crawl around inside the airplane, something I&#8217;ve never done before.
