I received in the mail today my copy (359 of 2500) of the <a title=\"CD Baby: a little CD store with the best new independent music\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cdbaby.com\/\">CD Baby<\/a>-produced &#8220;official bootleg&#8221; of the <a title=\"Doubleperf | Blog | Magic\" href=\"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2004\/12\/10\/magic.html\">Pixies&#8217; return to Avalon<\/a> in December of last year.  I opened it up (nice job, everyone at <a title=\"pixiesdiscs.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.getcoudal.com\/pixies\/blog.php\">Coudal \/ pixiesdiscs<\/a>) and lo and behold, there I am, barely (but definitively) visible in the photo Joey Santiago took that forms the backdrop of the double-cd case.  The photo is <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.getcoudal.com\/pixies\/includes\/1209crowd.php\">viewable online<\/a> &#8211; I&#8217;m the third head from the bottom in between the neck of Joey&#8217;s guitar and the outstretched Arm of Rock &#8211; but it&#8217;s much clearer in person.  Oh, and Disc 1 sounds great &#8211; I can&#8217;t wait to re-live it all again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OK, so it&#8217;s very small, but it now exists.
