{"id":2453,"date":"2010-12-27T11:38:09","date_gmt":"2010-12-27T19:38:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2010\/12\/27\/the_blizzard_that_was_and_wasnt.html"},"modified":"2010-12-27T11:42:06","modified_gmt":"2010-12-27T19:42:06","slug":"the_blizzard_that_was_and_wasnt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/archives\/2010\/12\/27\/the_blizzard_that_was_and_wasnt.html","title":{"rendered":"The blizzard that was, and wasn&#8217;t"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/btmeacham\/5297094675\/\" title=\"photo sharing\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5289\/5297094675_be397baecf.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We woke up this morning expecting two feet of drifting snow, thanks to the non-stop doomsayers on the local news, but in the end, the storm didn&#8217;t bring quite as much as we thought it might, and the chaos it created seemed to be at a minimum.  <\/p>\n<p>Whether or not we&#8217;ll get out of Logan tonight remains to be seen; hundreds of flights out have been cancelled, but the airport is now open again, though many of the planes needed to start flying out aren&#8217;t there yet.
