It was a pricey week of movie-going, with a bunch of $12 tickets and only one freebie thanks to my badge, at the Aero. Average ticket price over the week as $9, which isn’t great, but on the other hand, I was happy to see that six of the seven films were presented in 35mm, with only Wall Street, which I saw on its opening weekend, screening in digital format.

1. I’m Still Here at the Laemmle Sunset 5
2. Inception at the ArcLight Hollywood
3. The American at the Pacific’s The Grove Stadium 14
4. The Town at the Regency Village Theater
5. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World at the Pacific Culver 12
6. Manhattan at the Aero
7. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps at the AMC Century City 15

I’ve now covered 21 theaters, which sounds like a lot, but there are still many more to go, including the two new branches of the ArcLight chain that opened up this past year, as well as almost every theater in Santa Monica, which in theory should be easier to get to now that we’ve moved to the westside.
