We started off (after a <a title=\"((((( SUPER SIZE ME ))))) A FILM OF EPIC PORTIONS\" href=\"http:\/\/www.supersizeme.com\/\"><I>Super Size Me<\/I><\/a>-inspired healthy breakfast at 1369) with a drive on 2A to Lexington, where we visited the Battle Green, observed a busload of tourists led by a &#8220;Colonial Woman,&#8221; and got in the middle of the retired-lady mafia who run all of the gift shops.  <\/p>\n<p>After Lexington, we headed to Concord, accompanied by all of the same tourists we saw in Lexington, and we walked around the &#8220;rude bridge,&#8221; as the Park Service ranger informed passing canoeists that feeding the ducks was illegal, and the cyclists that riding your bike on the bridge was also illegal.<\/p>\n<p>The Battle of the Minuteman Statues:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"lexington.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2004\/06\/13\/lexington.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"concord.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.doubleperf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2004\/06\/13\/concord.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday was pretty much the nicest day of the year so far, and Aimee and I enjoyed it by visiting some local destinations we&#8217;d never been to, for whatever reason.
