A pretty drizzly day, and a race in a town that didn’t seem that far away on the map, but ended up taking a long time to get to, simply because of the geography and the road system around this part of the state. I wondered if anyone else was going to show up, and eventually, about 85 people did, and we all took off into the rain. It was an out and back course, and I managed to save up some energy to reel in some people in the second half, and somehow finished third overall. It was a charmingly low-key race, with lots of familiar 169 faces, and despite the weather, I felt good about the results.
