I’m quickly running out of nearby towns to run a quick race in, one that doesn’t eat up a whole morning with driving, but then again, you’ve got to run them all eventually, so near or far, you may as well get them done when you can.

This was a small, nicely run race, run through some Hamden neighborhoods I’d never visited. The course had a lot of turns and was one of the more interesting neighborhood routes I can remember, which kept things from getting dull, as much as a race can be when it’s only 5K. Another race dominated by guys in my age group, but I felt pretty good about my result and was back home by mid-morning.
