We’ve returned from a week in Alaska, and have just said goodbye to our New Year’s party guests, so we haven’t had much time to reflect on the past year, busy blur that it was. We’ve made a lot of changes in the last twelve months, and though I can’t say I’m sad to see 2013 go, it will always be remembered as that really, really busy year.

Last January, I was working the same job I’d had for the last seven years, and Aimee and I were raising a two month-old and a two year-old in a little house in L.A.. Now, I’m working a new job on the other side of the country, we’ve moved into a house in the Connecticut suburbs with a ballet-dancing older daughter and a 14 month-old who can walk… It’s been quite a year.
