The blizzard that was, and wasn’t

We woke up this morning expecting two feet of drifting snow, thanks to the non-stop doomsayers on the local news, but in the end, the storm didn’t bring quite as much as we thought it might, and the chaos it created seemed to be at a minimum.

Whether or not we’ll get out of Logan tonight remains to be seen; hundreds of flights out have been cancelled, but the airport is now open again, though many of the planes needed to start flying out aren’t there yet. So, we’ll see.

This morning, I got bundled up and took a walk down the hill and around the deserted streets in this part of town.

    These are great photos of Wellesley, Brian! It makes me never want to leave the town!

    Maybe you could add some others someday and make a calendar. I’d love it!
