I can finally say I’ve been to an opening for a font. Last night, House Industries held a reception for their new family of typefaces, Eames Century Modern, at the Eames Office just down Pico in Santa Monica. The event was great, a nice chance to look around the Eames office, rub shoulders with design and architectural royalty (an Eames here, a Neutra there…), listen to some great music, and drool over furniture, art, toys, and of course, fonts. Thanks to Keith and Leslie for letting us know about it.
