We’re spending the weekend, or 24 hours of it, at least, on Catalina. It’s a beautiful day out here, sunny and breezy, and we’ve spent the afternoon wandering around the harbor. We’re about to take a tour of the Casino (and that’s “Casino” as in Italian for “place of gathering” rather than place of gambling). Seems like we just missed former Yankee Bernie Williams playing his guitar in the jazz festival. Oh well.

I ran my ten miles this morning, though without my Roadrunners training group, as we needed to be on the road early to catch the Catalina Express. It felt ok, but I definitely missed having the pace kept for me rather than having to figure it out myself.
