We didn’t have any wifi in the youth hostel at Franz Josef Glacier, so I didn’t have a chance to post this then, but I wanted to put it up before I forgot. We went on a half-day hike on the glacier, which got us some quality time on the glacier and some good adventures squeezing through and hiking around the ice. It was raining only slightly, and only part of the time, which was a nice touch and a pleasant surprise.
