Time to make the gl?gg

I picked up my parents from LAX this morning, after they slipped through the Portland airport during a good weather window on their way down from Anchorage. We stopped at BevMo for aquavit (Norwegian this time, rather than Danish) on the way home, and Aimee had some tasty couscous waiting for us for lunch. After a trip to Pavilions for fondue fixings, I made the annual vat of gl?gg (ingredients seen above), which is now steeping, and we’re getting hungry for our Christmas Eve dinner reservation at Pizzeria Mozza. Not particularly Christmasy, but very L.A., so one out of two isn’t bad.
