Went for a treat at Mashti Malone’s last night (mmm, make mine a double!) and spotted the Wienermobile parked up on the sidewalk in front of the recently renamed Quality Inn on La Brea. When we came out to look for an apartment last summer, it was the Holiday Inn Express, and while not amazing, it was a totally sufficient, cheap, and well-located place to stay. In the fall, it became the “Delux Inn,” so said the temporary banner outside, and now, as of a few weeks or months, it’s the Quality Inn. I wonder if they still have the continental breakfast, complete with super-loud CNN.
