Neon

After reading an L.A. Times article (which I can’t seem to find now) about the possibly imminent closing of the Museum of Neon Art downtown, Aimee and I headed there on Sunday morning for a look around. It’s not a large space, but they’ve got a great collection of treasures from area restaurants, motels, and shops that have been restored and brought back to life. There’s a collection of art involving neon as well, plus some nice photos of Hollywood and other areas in the heyday of neon advertising. Here’s hoping they find another space, and a larger one, so they can display more of their great collection.
