Farewell tour

I’ve been busy this week packing up and moving boxes over to Aimee’s a few boxes at a time, because I figure it’s less maddening if I move over a few weeks than if I do one big move and spend the whole time thinking about how I’ll be moving all of the same stuff in a month’s time. We’ve had busy weekends, too, so I haven’t had a chance to go grocery shopping and get in the Heart to Heart for breakfast, pita sandwich for lunch groove, so instead, I’ve been hitting my favorite places in Cambridge over the last week. Dropping off stuff at the Salvation Army? Why not have an amazing breakfast burrito at Miracle of Science? Walking to work? Might as well have a tomato, brie, and asparagus breakfast sandwich at Darwin’s on the way. Need lunch? Felipe’s is good ‘n cheap. Eaten at Felipe’s once too often this week? How about a lunch special at Grendel’s for old time’s sake? It gets kind of expensive after awhile, but for a week, it’s fun.

We’re off to New York this afternoon for a friend’s shower/bachelorette party (her) and tagging along/hanging out (me). We’ll be back in time for a Father’s Day dinner, and then another week of moving stuff. Maybe I’ll try to stop at the grocery store first this time. Or maybe not…
