New Neighbors

On the way from the gym to work on Monday, I spotted a new store going in where the old hi-fi repair shop used to be next to Cafe Pamplona. It’s called Quick-Flix, and apparently, it’s the world’s smallest dvd rental shop. Well, that’s not their claim to fame, but it looks that way to me. Their website is pretty unhelpful and hideous, but if they have a good dvd selection and they’re not crazy expensive, then it’ll be good news for us, if we’re in an emergency and need a film right away.

In this article in today’s Crimson, Quick-Flix is discussed, as is the impending opening of the Museum of Useful Things in its new location. I lamented the closing of their location down the block from me two months ago, and I’ll be checking out the new one this weekend to see how it compares.
