Doubleperf is reborn, for the most part. The main indexes are all looking like they should, though there’s still more to do. In between correcting papers for the “NYC on Film” class I’m TA’ing, I’ve redesigned the site and cleaned up some of the old photo pages from meachams.com. Now that I look at the somewhat finished product, I’m struck by how much I’ve remodeled it to look like my old site – unconsciously, I think, but it’s all there: the rotating photo banner at the top, the sample images on the right side, the links on the left, the updates in the middle. Maybe there just aren’t so many ways to do things, but I’m certainly treading the same ground here. I’m happy with the new design, though, now that I know a little more about what I’m doing, and I’m able to make it less directly “inspired,” shall we say, by other blogs out there. Onward!
