Four day weekend

January 20th, 2004 · No Comments

The blog is a mess right now as I attempt to do the inevitable third month of existence re-design. And, as is my wont, I started at about 10:45 tonight, already kind of tired from driving back from Amherst. So I didn’t get it done – in fact, it’s barely started – but it’ll improve soon.

Aimee and I spent a full day in Northampton and Amherst today, reading, browsing the shops, staying out of the cold. The photo booths were hit, the breakfast bagel sandwiches were eaten, the cheap cds were perused, and a book that would undoubtedly decry my repeated use of the passive voice was bought.

It was another great day in the Pioneer Valley, which is always a welcome change of pace from Boston and a reminder of how nice places can be where normal people actually live. So that’s a little bit of an exagerration, but it’s close.
